Group projects are the worst. It’s almost a cliche that half the people will drag ass while the other half does all the work.

This is exactly why I haven’t gone back for my BS after I finished my associates.
“But it’s to help you out in the work force”
“I’m already out in the work force. Team/Group work rewards the slackers and punishes the ones that do the most work. I currently work alone (literally have 0 local co workers and my boss is in Arizona) and all of my future positions will be singular positions or on a miniscule team. If I get stuck in a group and someone else’s failure to complete their share of the assignments negatively impacts my grade I’ll be expecting a full refund.”
“we... Uh... Can’t guarantee that”
“Then I can’t guarantee my business. Good bye”
and thus is why I’m conducting self studies instead. Unfortunately I will have to go back for my BS..........eventually.

Her reaction to the McLaren is appropriate and spot-on.
That seems like a fun day.

I feel the same damn way about group projects. I recently (this morning) did a presentation in which a group member was writing her notecards while I was speaking and made her slides while the group before us was presenting. Group projects are bullshit that makes a teacher’s job easier with less to grade, stick it out and do your part. You’ll be rewarded.
